A blog is a coined word taken from web + log. It is a type of website that contains posts arranged in a chronological order. At the time of writing, the published date of blog posts can already be hidden so that it doesn’t show on the blog post page.

A post is any written material posted or published on the blog, and blogs come in different forms and types. When a blog is a part of a website, the homepage is a static page showing the different parts of the site in the navigation bar. A blog, however, has the blog posts (also called entries) as its homepage.

The content of the blog determines its type. The popular type is called the personal blog, which functions like an online diary and which contains posts about personal life. It could be opinions, personal events in life or hobbies. Other types are business blog, school, Internet marketing, Information technology and all other kinds of expertise. You can create blogs on whatever topic (also called niche) you choose.

When you write posts and entries for your blog, it’s called blogging and you can refer to yourself as a blogger. Nowadays, blogging can be a profession. There are professional bloggers who make a living from their blogs, because blogs can also be monetized.

Having your own blog is easy. There are a number of sites (which are called Blog platforms) that can help you set up your own blog with just one click of a button. The best part is that it’s free too!

And even though green tea contains less caffeine than coffee, I totally feel like it does make me feel more energetic.

Research-wise, green tea are said to burn calories faster and increase metabolism. It is rich in catechin polyphenols that said to help burn calories and prevent damaging effects of free radicals especially after a heavy work-out, thus making it a good anti-oxidant to help battle free radicals in our body. As it is herbal, it is also 100% natural.

If you drink green tea, you could also benefit from its other health benefits such as its ability to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. It can kill cancel cells without damaging healthy cells. It helps prevent rheumatoid arthritis and cardio vascualr diseases.

How To Check Your SmartBro Balance

There are two ways to check your balance in SmartBro prepaid plug-it.

First: Check your balance online

How To Lower Fever Temperature Without Medicine

I'm not a doctor or a medical specialist of any kind, but I learned this trick from a doctor. Of course, taking fever medicine is still the best way to lower body temperature, but when you don't have access to medicine, this could really help lower body temperature. When I was pregnant and couldn't get hold of a medicine --and didn't want to take any-- but have a bottle of alcohol and paper tissue in my bag, I used them to lower my body temperature.

Alcohol lowers body temperature because of its cooling properties. When capillaries run through a part of skin with alcohol, the cooling effect is distributed throughout the body. Also, because alcohol evaporates quickly, it takes the heat out of the skin immediately when it evaporates and leaves the skin feeling cold.

Don't forget to take some medicine as soon as you can :)

I don't know about you, but in the world wide web, I feel a certain level of loyalty to those I feel I know better than those I don't. I tend to be forgiving of the mistakes of others I know but smirk at mistakes of those I don't. In fact, it would take very little to convince me to write a negative blog post about it, but Iet's not get into that. When you write your letter, do not be afraid to be a little personal in it. Offer your readers a glimpse of your life from time to time. Tell them about your pets, the neighbor that's driving you crazy or the woman at the check-out counter of the grocer. But always make it short to show that you respect their time, and to not lose their interest.

MAILING FREQUENCY

How often you communicate with your subscribers depends on the kind of list that you have. If it's a tip list, a weekly schedule would be ideal, although a bi-weekly schedule would be just as effective.

If you go for a newsletter or ezine, unless you can manage a weekly publication, bi-monthly would do just fine. The goal is to not let the readers forget about you, as they probably will, when they only hear from you once a month. But you should also be careful not to irritate them from seeing mails from you all the time. I do tend to unsubscribe from a listing ifI see too much of them in my inbox. I suspect it's no different with others.

BRING THEM BACK TO YOUR WEBSITE!

Whenever you communicate with your list, always remember to include a link back to your website. Entice them with a peek of what's new in your site and don't forget that link!

THINK LONG-TERM

Over time, some of your subscribers will not be as responsive as they were when they first signed up. They will no longer read your mails, let alone open them. some may unsubscribe as well. But never grow tired of taking care of your list. A lot of successful people on the Internet are people who never gave up. If your low in traffic, maybe you need to Iiven things up, not let the list go.

WHAT KIND OF MAILING LIST WILL YOU HAVE?

You need to decide if you're going to run and manage your mailing list on
your server or have it hosted by a list management system owner. I
recommend that you use a hosted solution and leave the management to
the experts. It's going to save you a lot of time. Besides, there are lots of
free third-party list management owners out there.

Now, there are three basic list types. The Tips List, the Newsletter and the
Ezine Format. If you have a blog, you could publish there and just give a
short text of each post in your email, including links to your website.

Tips List. This kind contains tips and is not date-sensitive unlike
newsletters and ezines. This is the easiest to manage of all three. If you
have an auto-responder, which we'II talk about later, you can load as
many tips as you could make in the system and have it sent to your
subscribers three or five tips per week and set the delivery schedule
whatever way you like. If you have 52 tips for example, you could set the
system to deliver one per week and the system will continue delivering
your tips uninterrupted for a whole year.

Newsletter and Ezine are both publication types, except the Ezine is
more in-depth and is longer.

THE AUTO-RESPONDER

Even though you might think you can handle sending
emails to your subscribers yourself, it is not wise to do so. Besides, that
would take a lot of your time and we want something that you can "set
then forget", don't we? With an auto-responder system, you can set the
frequency of your mails and with just one click of a button, you'II be able
to send mails to all the people in your list. Most auto-responders come
with a mailing list system.

But there's another reason why you need an auto-responder system.
Such a software allows subscribers to easily opt out and choose how
frequent they want to receive mails from you. This is important if you
want to avoid your email address being flagged as spam.

THE FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS

Something you need to understand about this mailing list business is that
it's a relationship, and like all kinds of relationships, you need to nurture it.
Once you have their email addresses, that's when the relationship starts.
When they sign up on your website, take that opportunity to thank them,
and yes, send them an email with a thank you token. For instance, if
you're offering services or products, you could offer gift certificates. If
you're in the business of giving opinions and reviews on why it's madness
to buy that new gadget, you could offer a free ticket to a trade fair or a
movie, or perhaps a gift certificate for a cup of coffee! It doesn't have to
be extravagant and your imagination is only your limit! Remember that for
taking their time out to sign up, they're showing that they are interested
enough to hear more from you and what you have to offer them
information-wise. Don't let the chance to nourish that relationship slip
through your hands!

Every web page has a primary function, to coax the visitors to do
something, buy something or employ services. But every web page should
also have its secondary function, and that is to coax the visitors to sign up
for the newsletter. You see, when you have their e-mail addresses, you'II
have the opportunity to market to them over and over again and lead
them back to your site every time!

HAVING A SQUEEZE PAGE

A "name squeeze" is a special webpage that has only one purpose. To
squeeze the name and the email address out of a reader in exchange for a
gift or offer.

This is useful when you're trying to build a list and or offering new
services. You can offer them something that they can use to avail of your
services or buy your products. A good example is discounts. Of course, you
could also offer something completely unrelated to your products and
services, and even when you don't have any new services for trial.
Remember, there's no hard and fast rule in the Internet. I suggest you
give out something really valuable and useful and will be hard to resist.

Writing constant content for your website is a sure way to increase traffic in your site. The Easiest Way To Download Files From You Tube Or Change File Types

Have you ever wished you could download a video from youtube without downloading any software, or going through the tedious process of downloading a player to play a video you have downloaded because of its uncommon file type?

By default, videos at youtube cannot be downloaded, but sometimes we want to save the video or have a copy of it because we want to share it with friends or be able to watch it over and over again without connecting to the Internet or because the video may not remain permanently on youtube. There are hundreds of sites that offer to download the video for you by just right-clicking on the video and automatically saving it on your computer. The problem with these sites though is that you still have to download another software to be able to play your downloaded video. So, i there a site that downloads a video link without you having to download a software?

Try Zamzar. It's the easiest way to download videos from youtube or any other site without downloading any software. It downloads the file for you and changes the file type to any extension you want at the same time.

Personally, I like Zamzar because I can also use it not just to download videos from the Internet but also to change the file extension of videos I have taken from my phone. The videos are emailed to me (because you do not have to have an account with them or register to be able to use their services) so it's not a simple right-click and download process, but then, I do not have to download any software because the file type wasn't recognized by my player, or have hundreds of player installed on my computer to be able to play the videos I have downloaded or have in file. I can keep all my videos in one place and will need only one player to play them all.

How To Make A Gelatin Fruit Salad

You can make a delicious fruit salad that could pass as a buko (coconut meat) fruit salad, and at a cheaper price too. You can use gelatin as a substitute for buko because white gelatin when shredded looks exactly like a very soft coconut meat shredded for a fruit salad. No one would know it's actually gelatin and not coconut meat.

Here's what you're going to need:

1 sachet of white powder gelatin
1 can of fruit salad (or fresh fruits if you prefer them)
1 nestle cream
1 condensed milk in can

Heat the powder gelatin (follow label instructions) and shred them (like you would a buko fruit) once it's formed. Put all the ingredients together, and voila! you have a very economical and delicious gelatin fruit salad ala buko salad.
